Limited lifetime warranty is a warranty against manufacturer defects, not normal wear and tear. It is for the lifetime of the original owner. Lamiglas warranty technicians and rod builders would be able to determine if a rod break was caused by a defect or not. If you are certain that your fishing rod has a defect in material or workmanship, please submit a claim via the Warranty Check In Form.
You only need your proof of purchase if you would like to claim your broken rod as defective. This may include a receipt that was sent in your order package (if shipped from Lamiglas or another retailer), a digital copy of your receipt, or a physical receipt (if purchased from our shop or another retailer).
