It’s hard to find a more versatile model than the GP90HC. At 9 foot it allows great line control from the bank and spread from the boat. Very popular as a bobber or drift rod, it also is an excellent trolling option too. This is an excellent all-around salmon option if you need a rod that does just about everything well.

Technique Examples

Trolling | Rod can troll moderate weight or plugs very successfully. 

Backbounce/Anchor | Can handle weight & plug setups and run flat-lined salmon plugs. Can multi-task as a longer back-bouncing/bumpin' rod.

Salmon Float & Drift | Bottom-bouncing or bobber fishing, sensitivity and fast action with great backbone capability, but feels great on a hot fish.
