Rods are not covered from accidental damage over time that causes a break. If that is the case you will receive the best pricing through Fast Track.

Please register your rod right away after purchase and keep your receipt as a DATED PROOF OF PURCHASE. You may take a picture of your receipt (JPG or PNG) and upload it through our rod registration form.

Note: Lamiglas Dealers are not authorized to make warranty decisions. In order for your rod to obtain the proper warranty inspection and determination, the damaged rod must be sent to Lamiglas Warranty Service.

What does a Limited Lifetime Warranty Cover?

Lamiglas rods are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser, unless otherwise stated*.

If the issue is due to a defect in materials or workmanship, the rod will be repaired or replaced to you as quickly as possible. If the problem is due to an unfortunate accident, misuse, alteration or normal wear and tear, we will advise you of the cost of the repair or replacement and await your approval prior to proceeding.

Our rods are built to last when they are used how they are designed to be used. Using the right tackle for your fishery is essential – do not overload, high-stick or otherwise abuse the rod. These breaks are not covered under warranty (in the case of accidental/incidental breakage, use the Fast Track Program and receive the most affordable replacement pricing)

**Certain select value-rods offer a One – Year Limited Warranty (see below).

If your rod fails, and you feel that it was due to a material or manufacturing defect, send the entire rod in a disposable container, prepaid and insured, with DATED PROOF OF PURCHASE to:

If you feel your rod broke due to a defect, please enclose a note (or our Warranty Claim Form) with your information and any information about how it broke, along with a check or money order in the amount of $25.00 in U.S. funds for shipping. You may also leave a number to call for payment information.

If the return shipping length is over 9’ and/or if the destination is other than the continental United States (not including Hawaii and Alaska), the actual return shipping cost will be assessed, which in some cases could be as much as $150.

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the rod and does not cover consequential damages due to the failure of the rod unless they are specifically included under various state laws. Please allow 10 working days for processing.

Accidental Breakage

If your rod broke due to an accident we can offer you an excellent Fast Track price on a brand new replacement rod. Warranty evaluations will not be eligible for Fast-Track pricing, customer must indicate fast-track.

The following rods (series) offer a 1-Year Limited Warranty

X-11, Big Fish, Insane Surf, Classic Glass, Excel 2, Cascade Pro

A “Born on Date Code” is marked right above the fore grip on the rod blank to show manufacturing date.

Month and year noted as below.

A5 = January 2015 Manufacture Date

A=January, B=February, C=March, D=April, E=May, F=June, G=July, H=August, I=September, J=October, K=November, L=December

The dated proof of purchase begins the One – Year Warranty period. Otherwise the date stamp will be used to determine the warranty period.

We will still accept rod drop-offs at the front desk during all normal business hours but cannot offer immediate service there.

• If you are returning a custom rod please remove any after-market components that you wish to keep, as they will not be returned
• Do not use a shipping container that you want returned, it will be disposed of at the factory
