Information Lamiglas Collects.

Lamiglas collects the following type of information:

  • Information on how you are using our Site;
  • Contact information, such as your name, shipping and/or mailing address, phone number, email address;
  • Credit or debit card account number, and may also include your purchase history;
  • Information about your outdoor activity preferences and interests;
  • registration information such as valid email address, username or community name, gender, birthday;
  • Information you provide when participating in contests, surveys, community discussions and comments, ratings and reviews, outdoor questions and answers, online forums, chats and blogs. Please note: Information posted in these areas becomes public information. Please use caution before disclosing any personal information in these public content areas;
  • Referral information for services to help you inform a friend about our Sites such a Gift Card; and,
  • Your purchase, return and exchange information.

We do not collect information regarding your race, nationality, ancestry, lineage, religion, political views or membership of workers’ unions.

When Lamiglas Collects Information

Lamiglas collects information when:

How and Why Lamiglas Collects Information

In order to streamline and improve your online shopping experience, including the storage of items in your cart between visits, to help with fraud identification, and to assist our customer service representatives in resolving any issues you may experience in completing online purchases, Lamiglas uses cookies, tracking pixels, web beacons and other technologies to receive and store certain types of information. How We Use Email

When you email Lamiglas, or provide us with your email address, Lamiglas will email you as necessary to process your order, respond to a request or provide customer service. For example, after you place an order on our Site, you will receive an email confirmation and, in most cases, an email with package tracking information. Recipients of our email gift cards will receive an email notifying them of the gift and instructing them how to redeem it.

Lamiglas may also send promotional emails about products, special offers, services or events Lamiglas believes may be of interest to you. It is our intent to send promotional emails only to those who wish to receive them. Lamiglas provides instructions on how to unsubscribe in each email.

Information Lamiglas Shares with Others and Your Privacy Rights

Lamiglas does not share, rent or sell your email addresses or other personal information with third parties.   We may share your personal information with third parties when: (1) you request or authorize it; (2) the information is provided to help complete a transaction for you; (3) the information is provided to comply with the law, applicable regulations, governmental and quasi-governmental requests, court orders or subpoenas, to enforce our  Terms of Use or other agreements, or to protect our rights, property or safety or the rights, property or safety of our users or others (e.g., to a consumer reporting agency for fraud protection etc.); (4) the disclosure is done as part of a purchase, transfer or sale of services or assets (e.g., in the event that substantially all of our assets are acquired by another party, customer information may be one of the transferred assets); (5) the information is provided to our agents, outside vendors or service providers to perform functions on our behalf (e.g., analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing customer service, processing orders, sending emails about our products or services, etc…) and  and we work with them to ensure that your privacy is protected; and (6) if you transact a purchase using a credit card,  Lamiglas will supply to your credit card company all relevant information about the name of the vendor, item(s) purchased, purchase date, total cost and other information necessary to process the transaction. Lamiglas will not otherwise provide any personal information to your credit card company without your permission.

The “help” function of your internet browser should contain instructions to set your computer to either accept all cookies, to notify you when a cookie is issued, or to not receive cookies at any time. If you set your computer to not receive cookies at any time, you will not receive cookies from our Site, but certain personalized services cannot be provided to you, and accordingly, you may not be able to take full advantage of all of the features of our Site.

Updating or Reviewing Your Information

To update your customer information, including your name, address, telephone number and email address, please either log into your account on our Site, or contact us. To protect your privacy, Lamiglas will need to validate your identity before we can update your information.

Request For Disclosure

In addition to the rights set forth above, you have the right to request information from us regarding the manner in which we share certain categories of your personal information with third parties, for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. You further have the right to submit a request to us once a year at our e-mail address and receive the following information:

  • the categories of information we disclosed to third parties for the third parties direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year;
  • the names and addresses of third parties that received such information; and
  • if the nature of a third party’s business cannot be reasonably determined from the third party’s name, examples of the products or services marketed.

You are entitled to receive a copy of this information in a standardized format and the information will not be specific to you individually.


It is our intent to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of personal information that Lamiglas has collected from you or received from a partner. Lamiglas uses a variety of current technologies and processes for protection of our customer data. Lamiglas limits the information we provide to outside companies with whom we contract to only what they need to carry out their responsibilities. When you make a purchase or create an account on our Site, your transactional information is transmitted in a safe, encrypted format.

Privacy of Children on Our Site

Our Site is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Please contact us if you believe we may have collected information from your child and we will work to delete it.
