What is the intended benefit of the removable handle for the new line of Super Surf Rods? All of my surf rods (with the exception of one "back-up" rod) are one piece. Experience has been that the two pieces tend to become loose and rotate with respect to one another. I have also seen them come apart during a cast. Have any provisions been made to prevent any of these problems?
Lastely, any plans for a one piece Super Surf with an All-Cork handle (similar to the Graphite Surf and Jetty?) I inquired about this a few years back to your local sales rep and your marketing personnel at a show a few years back and they said it would be coming.

The reason for the DH is you can have different handles with different reel seats and different rod lengths. We have used a longer feral= more friction and the feral placement is in an area that not much flex is happening so they stay together very well.
As for the all cork handle I have not heard much lately about possibly making one.
