looking to build an 9' to 10' 2pc beach/shoreline casting rod that can handle lures somewhere in the 1oz-6oz range (1-3, 2-4, etc & whatever). want fiberglass in honey or root beer color, with a moderate taper. will cork tape the handle section and clamp on an avet sx mx loaded with either 20# mono or 30# super braid.
the ideal would be - glass, honey or rootbeer color, 2pc, 9', 15-30# line, 2-4oz lures.
what's the scoop on the ICG rod series ... fiberglass? color?
ICG 105-2HH ... 8'9" 2pc 15-30#
ICG108-2DR ... 9' 2pc 15-30#
for any lami rod model suggestion, what would be the guide placements?

Those blanks could not surf cast much over 2oz and they are black in color. We do not make anything like what you are asking for. The closest thing would be the BXCF1082H but it is Black in color.
