I am in the market to get into fly fishing i was wondering about the Model G1298 9' 3 1/2 oz Line Wt #8 rod. i am going to be fishing for steelhead in rivers in washington and oregon and will be taking a few trips to alaska to fly fish for silver salmon. My questin is would that be a good rod selection for that aplication. thanks for the advice.
