I bought a XC 705 for texas rig worm fishing and dragging football jigs but this rod action seems a little light too me for these applications. I then bought the tournament frog rod i think its the XC 725 and this rod is much too heavy for what i wanted to use it for but yet they are the same power but they are so different in action. I wish i could find a rod that is in the 7 foot to 7'4 in length but just i little lighter than the 806 flippin stick. How does the XC 704 compare to these other rods ?
