Is the rod blank for the XC704 and XPS 704 the same?

Is the rod blank for the XC 704 the same as the XPS704. I know that both rods are mod/fast and have a power rating of 4.

The XC 704 uses the DTIMC 84 M and the XPS 704 uses the IMP 844 blank

The IMP 844 blank is rated 8-17# 3/8 to 3/4 butt dia. of .500 tip size of 5 they are 2 1/8 oz.

The DTIMC is rated 10-20# 1/4 to 1 oz. .536 butt dia. with a 5.5 tip size they are 2 3/16 oz.
