I have a XC704X cert pro about six years old or so. How does this differ from the 704J I hear so much about?

Doc,
If the XC704X is the model i'm thinking of its the brown IM blank with the standard Fugi reel seat. The 704J is the IM700 " flats " series blank in black. See catalog. The reel seat is the touch style with the exposed blank for additional sensetivity. The guides are lighter as is the blank and the action should be a bit faster. I have to be honest in that I have the older XC703. The current Certified Pro 4 powers are a bit stiffer than those manufactured 6 plus years ago. The rear grip on the current 704J may have a slightly shorter rear grip, maybe an inch or so. If you choose to update I'm confident you would be pleased with the improvment in design and materials. If i've errored in any of my information Josh or Ryan will chide in i'm sure. I'm kind of comparing actions and weight based on the the older XFT764 and the current " flats" XFT 764 which is both lighter and slighter faster in it's action.
