My wife bought me a beautiful new 11' salmon rod for my birthday (talk about a lucky guy) and I want to treat it well. The advice section says "...lubricate the reel foot and the threads of the reel seat..." What should I use for lubricant?

If it's the 11 ft salmon float rod the nylon/graphite reelseat will never need lubrication, nor will it ever jam. Just about as trouble free as anything can get.
