Guys,
I am looking for my first surf rod and figure the surf king would be a good place to start, but not sure if the SK10MS or SK10MHS would be best. I will primarily use it for plugging/pencil poppers/needle fish, but would like to toss eels and bunker as well around the north and south shore of Long Island.

Is the 2-4 oz SK10MS or 3-8oz SK10MHS more appropriate for this application, or something different?
