I have 3 ceritified Pro salmon and steelhead rods. I have not used Ferrule Wax on any rods. Does my Lamiglas rod require the use of this where the two rod pieces fit together?
If so what is the purpose..
Sorry for my ignorance,
shane

Shane,
This is an advise column, the factory boys aren't here all the time. They answer much better through the normal business email or phone calls.
That said I'm not a fan of lubes on Lamiglas ferrules as the wax picks up dirt and sand and that's not a good thing, especially inside the female ferrule where it can't be seen or cleaned well.
No one knows as much as all of us.
I do not recommend any wax of any kind. I use a product by U40 called ferrule jub
