I bought this rod from Bi-Mart here in Newberg, Oregon. Some of the Lamiglas rods had Medium / Heavy etc. This one only has MTC and no one can tell me what it stands for.
Rogue River Special:
RR 86 MTC
Thanks,
Bob

No one knows as much as all of us.
Can you explain the difference from Lamiglas Medium Heavy to the MTC? What is the Magnum actually specify.
We will be using this Lamiglas Rogue River Special 8'6" MTC for trolling and Kwikfish. We also do a little bit of side drifting when we pull anchor and leave an area.

Sorry for the double post.

The MT has the butt power of a standard rod rated one or two rod powered higher, with a standard weight tip. Much like an long mag bass blank, it's also a bit similar to a hot shot blank, just not as fast tipped. You can see it in the line/lure rating compared to a standard MH blank. MTs 10 to 25 lb line vs 10 to 20 lb line rating on a MH blank.
Been a while since I was around one of those rods, but I think they told me it was designed as a spinner & bait rod for the Rogue fishery where it works so well.
