Just bought/traded a friend for his Kenai Killer 9ft 20-50 rod.

Was wondering if this would cover double duty as a boat/bank rod for sturgeon? I have also considered the BFC70H for a boat rod. I'm not opposed to the length of the Kenai rod in the boat as my downrigger rods are CG90's and i'm used to the way they handle.

I have several reels at home that would match well, and would like to take it with me for a columbia trip i have coming up this april.

What do the rod gods have to say?
