G1000 ROD ADVICE

I was looking at the G1000 series rods for spring chinook fishing. I will mostly be backtrolling with a diver and eggs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Lamiglas used to make two

Lamiglas used to make two excellent rods on the same blank for two different purposes. I prefer the 2 piece blank, but you can get a similar one piece also if stoarage isn't a problem, just look at the specs and you'll know which one.
The rod still built on the blank is the Puget Jigger G 1302-T, there also used to be a Willamette River Special built exactly like this rod which was an excellent backtroller and backbouncer for all but the heaviest divers and currents.

No one knows as much as all of us.

Try the G1330-T Hot Shot

Try the G1330-T Hot Shot Magnum. This graphite rod was designed for that.
