rod or blank for centerpin/single action salmon downrigger use

I am looking for recommendation for rod or blank of up to 9'6" to be used ala BC style with single action Islander reels off the downrigger for salmon. I prefer a little shorter length for easier maneuvering the rod on the boat. Graphite or glass ok.

i beleive that the certified

i beleive that the certified pro is "like butter." i dont believe you would be disapointed if you went w/ XSH1022M or XSH1022MT both 8'6". the consideration would be line rating and lure rating. most of my buddies that are fishing that style of rod and reel combo, are fishing light line on light rods. "but different strokes for different folks" there is NO right or wrong way to go for "you". Aloha...

Look at these graphite

Look at these graphite blanks: GSA 102 2H and GSA 108 2H.
Glass Blanks: BXCF 102 2H, BXCF 108 2H, ISS 102 2H, and ICG 108 2DR.
The DR is a downrigger blank.
