I fish salmon in Puget sound, Neah Bay, West Coast of B.C. I fish with downriggers and use Knuckle Buster reels.
What I am looking at is a 9' to 9' 6" rod with a short butt grip (about 6") and a long fore grip (about 12"). I am considering using a BXCF 108 2 MH or BXCF 108 2H. I am concerned that the MH may be a bit light but the H may be a bit heavy. Would the XSH 111 2h be a compromise between the other two or is there a blank that would be ??????

I think I'd use a less expensive classic glass blank for downrigger use. I've built many older Lamiglas E glass 4 and 5 power 9 and 10 1/2 ft rods like your discribe, and use Diawa mooching reels. Inexpensive, simple, and reliable salmon rods.
No one knows as much as all of us.
