Does this rod have enough backbone to drift fish for fall chinook?

I've been using the one in that picture to the left for that for the last 10 years, no complaints here! it's just a good medium heavy workhorse...i've used it for drift fishing, bobbers, pulling plugs and even jigging in the salt.
even use it a lot for steelhead when the water comes up and i need to run 17-20lb mainline.
The G1310 T would work just fine. You will not want to go any heavier.
