SFL 905/6 F Blank

I have just purchased an old SFL 905/6 F S-Glass blank. This 2pc. rod is 7'6" and rated for 5/6wt. lines. I am hoping someone can tell me the guide spacing, the guide sizes and what down lock reel seat might fit this rod. The butt is huge. I measured it at .525" Any info will be appreciated. Thank you.

Steve

I'd go with a 16 mm spinning

I'd go with a 16 mm spinning reel seat configured down locking with a plug in the end. The old aluminum style isn't half the seat.

No one knows as much as all of us.

Spoonplugger1, Thank you

Spoonplugger1,
Thank you for the response. Any chance you have the guide spacing and guide size for this rod. I can not find any information on this blank. Thank you.

All I have is a generics

All I have is a generics spacing chart I recieved years ago from one of the factories in Woodland years ago. I use the static distribution test as described in the library at www.rodbuilding.org on all my rods, once you've done it a few times it's much faster and easier than trying to find a chart than measuring everything. I also test cast after setting the guides and than adjust as needed to get the best results before wrapping the rod.

No one knows as much as all of us.

Spoonplugger1, Thank you

Spoonplugger1,
Thank you very much for the info. I can not wait to start building this rod.
