Graphite handles on XCF?

Has anyone built up a certified pro fiberglass blank and put graphite handles on it? Did it/would it change the action of the blank much?

I bought a couple of XCF 803 rods (seconds) earlier this year and the cork is wearing quicker than i'd like. I'm thinking of changing the cork out for graphite handles, but don't want to change the action of the rod. That sweet soft tip just can't be ruined... advice?

That is something we have had

That is something we have had breif discussions on. Nothing has been done up yet. On the XCF 803 there should be no issue with using a graphite handle, the 803 is made with a fast enough taper. And has enough back bone where that should not be a issue.

Yea you can use that handle

Yea you can use that handle on that rod. Infect that rod was first built with a GH when it was in the proto stages. Just make sure you use rod bond when gluing it as the first attempt with devcon the glue failed do to flex in the blank and not the handle.
