Greetings all
I've inherited a Lamiglas rod that I suspect is a salmon fly rod, but there are no details of the line weight etc on the blank.
There is however, a code (GF81443). Could this be used to ID the rod?
I'm off fishing in Scotland later in the year and it would be great to put it to use again.
Any help or advice most gratefully received!

A little different than I'm used to seeing, but looks like a 12 ft., 3 piece, 8wt. Sound about right?

Those numbers seem a little bit off to me? I believe what spoon plugger said is correct though. 12ft. 3 piece, 8wt. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for ya.
