Hello squad
I have ordered the GLB108 2ML blank which is used in the G1000 Kenai Force model. Unfortunately this rod is only available for baitcasting and the same thing applies for the guide spacing chart available on the webside..
I am planning to build a spinning rod using this blank
Can you give me any usefull info about the guides?
Should i use 8 , 9 guides or less?
What should be the optimum spacing between these guides?
Should i use a size 40 or 30 as my first guide?

Depends on the reel and line used, what's the spool diameter at the lip? The first guide should be at least 1/2 the diameter. Other answers with more info.

Thanks for your answer spoonplugger. I intend to use a stradic FI 6000 model as a reel and a 30 - 50 lb braided line
