I have been looking to build a dock skipping rod (spinning), and was wondering about using the xs661 or at least the blank that is used to construct that model. I have never actually used this rod so I am wondering if this rod may be a little to light. The xps 662 may be a better way to go, but the mod fast rating might be a little slow for what Im after. Any thoughts would be welcome.
