Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a new light weight rod for cod/offshore sea bass. What do the letters after the new Tri Flex Salwater rods mean. BL-8050C? BL -7040 LB? Need help making a choice here.
Thanks,, Rich

The C is a standard Tri-Felx series casting model. Very heavy duty and rated for big cod. The LB is considered a live bait rod and offers a very light tip with a very stout backbone. What length would be ideal for you? I am sure something out of the series would fit your need.

Thanks for the reply R.Taylor.
Just one more question, what is the difference between the #one handle and the #two? I saw a picture some where that looked like the 2 was a slick butt? Leaning towards the 8fter. Need to be sure it has a foam butt, can't find them around here.
Thanks, Rich
I agree the picture is confusing, it actually is the same reel seat pictured on both handle numbers. All of the handles are foam, so you are safe.
