EXS96LL Vs. EXS96L

Right now I have five 9.5 ft 6-10 g200 spinning rods that I use as my side drifters for steelhead. I also use them to pitch plugs and spinners for Coho. I want to upgrade all the rods to the XMG series. I am a little hesitant to go with the Extra light spinning rod becasue im afraid it wont have enough backbone for big steelhead. Any suggestions?

You are correct, the LLS will

You are correct, the LLS will be too light for big steelhead. It is really only designed as a light action summer steelhead rod, or at the most a side drifting rod. I would definately choose the LS.
