Hello
We unfortunately in the past few years have seen a huge drop in interest in our Noodle rods. This has forced us to drop our remaining models. We do still have a couple 13' 6-10# Certified Pro's Kicking around you would be able to order through one of your local retailors. Sorry I do not have a better news for you but that is all I can tell you. The Mod. number is X 13 LS you might still be able to find a X 13 LLS also. They are rated at 4-8# test. Thanks again Have a great day.

We don't consider the X 106 MLS a noodle rod. It is however soft and makes a great float rod. Most guys who refer to a "noodle rod" are looking for 12-13ft in length and very light line lure ratings. If you are looking for a 10'6" I would definitely recommend the X 106 MLS.

do you guys make a 10 footer noodle rod or you dont make noodle rods anymore
We don't have anything in our current Steelhead lineup that would be considered a noodle rod. There are still some X 13' LS models around at some retailers as they were discontinued this year.

Just to help you out E-rock the rod that he has on his website you provided is not a noodle rod. True noodle rods are rated for 2-4lb or 2-6lb line and flex much further down the blank and have much less power than the rod he mentioned. The terminology is what is causing the confusion on our end. We offer the X10MS and the X106mls for your application. I think you would be happy with them.

Josh is right, I looked at the article and the person writing the article doesn't know what a noodle rod is. Google "Dick Swan noodle rod" to see what a noodle rod is. They are fish killers as it takes forever to get the fish in, not to be used in a catch and release situation where native fish have to be released.
No one knows as much as all of us.
I have a G 1321 noodle rod that I use for crappie fishing at 9' and rated 2 to 6 # this rod is extremely sensitive and I have not had any problem with fish dying. I only wish I could find another rod of this nature that was a little longer.
you may want to look into having a fly rod blank custom wrapped by someone, that's about your best noodle rod option now days, the consumer let the noodle rod die. I have owned 3, 11'6" 1-4lb rating. in their element they are a great tool. If you know how to use them they whip a steelhead very quick, about the same as any other rod
I am looking for a steelhead drifting rod I have looked at the new 9' 6lb/15lb 1/4 3/4 LX 90MC X11 for around $90.00
and also 9' 8lb/12lb 3/8 3/4 G-1324-T $200.00 I also would like to pull k-16 and hot shots
any one have an opinion?
You are talking about a lot of different types of rods there. I would suggest you get one rod for each type of fishing as a good steelhead drift rod is no where near the rod you need to fish a K16. For that you should look at something like our XCC 803 or XCC 934. Hope this helps.
