anybody???????? maybe a representative can help me?
The rod was rated for 4 ounces when it was first built. Over time we have changed the rating to 1-3 ounces to match what the rods actual sweet spot casts best. You can still throw 4 ounces with it fine, but it will cast best between 1-3.

thank you guru ryan
Hey Ryan,
If I order a new rod will it come with the 1 to 3oz rating on it or still have the 1 to 4oz. I tried the rod out in the B&T and it does feel a little stiffer like a 1 to 4.
I currently have the
XSRA 1083 rated 3/8 to 2oz and the
XS 861 MS Rated 5/8 TO 2oz that Lami made for a B&T in my area
I'm looking for a 9' about 3/4 to 3oz so I can throw up to 3oz, an still have the sensitive tip action. Any suggestions? I also have a TS 86 MS which is rated 5/8 to 3oz. This is my 2 piece on me at all time back up rod.
Thanks, Mike
You will get the 1-3 oz rating, however it is the same blank. I think you are already looking at the right rod, you could also check out the XS 9 MS is the Graphite Surf and Jetty line.
