Down Riggers & Rods

My brother suggested I look at the Lamiglas rods when I asked what rod I should get if I was looking for a new rod to be used almost exclusively with a down rigger, diver set up, or jigging for bottom fish. What rods would you recommend I consider? I noticed the post about the XCC 934(Think that is the one) and will consider this one, but was hoping to get something a little less expensive considering I would like to purchase another rod that will be used on the rivers. I wanted this one to be a bit longer in order for me to get across to the hard to reach spots on the rivers so I thought I would need to get two rods.

The other thing I know is that the rod needs to have the sensitivity if I am going to fish for steelhead, leading me to the need for two rods. Any help would be appreciated. My 20 year old Eagleclaw has seen its last days...:-)

If you are looking for something less expensive I would definately look at the Classic Glass rods. They perform great and are very affordable.
