fish2light,
The Bucktail Jig will be productive world wide, especially the lima bean shape bucktail. The US Navy has this bucktail jig in its survival kit. Hope This Helps !
Ron Arra
thank you,
that helps I need a Rod that will load with confidence, something that is made for a Bucktail, I need a rod that will get out far, I have a 8'6 G.loomis IMX feels more of a Fast action rod. I'm getting 50Ft 1oz and 65ft with 2oz with 30lb power pro, 5000 sustain FG. To be honest it's more of a boat rod.
Is their 11ft rod with a nice 90 degree bend or more that will get you 100Ft?
Any recommendation?
fish2light,
If your looking for good distance with jigs using braid line, then I would recommend the Lamiglas XSRA 1322-2 rated 1-5oz lures.
Ron Arra
have you test the Lamiglas XSRA 1322-2 rated 1-5oz lures and compared it with the INF 11MHS - 2-6 oz
thank you
fish2light,
You mentioned above that you where casting 2oz and the XSRA 1322-2 rated for 1-5oz lures would achieve good distance. The New Infinity INF 11MHS 11' is rated for 2-6oz lures and will achieve optimum performance with 3 oz to 4 1/2 oz lure. "I Hope This Helps"

Thank you very much for your time, I think I'll end up buy both rods :), I enjoyed your video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqHGDo5Xf60
what rods were you using? and what kind of Baitcasting reel did you have on the Baitcasting rod?
Thank you kindly
The rod I used is a one piece Custom Built conventional XRA 1322 11' rated 1-5oz lures. The reel was a Penn 525 MAG with 25lb test Cortland Mono. The lure was a Strike Pro Ron Arra bottle 3 1/4 oz popper. "All The Best"
