Last month I ordered some rod building materials and a few Lami fiberglass fly rod blank.. The blanks has to be back ordered as they do not have the stock for Lamiglas yet.
Is there a shortage of supplies for traditional honey Lami fiberglass blanks?
I am still waiting for a reply from the online shop where I ordered my blanks.

Yes,
We were having a very hard time getting the honey colored glass. I have gotten word that we should have it back in stock within the next couple of weeks and can hopefully get the blanks out shortly after.

Thank for the info.
I heard the previous raw material supplier for the honey fiberglass rod has closed down their business and you guys have to source for new supplier.
I know Lamiglas is rushing the production to get the stock out but I hope this will not bring down the quality of the blanks. I got a few Lami blanks which has got factory blem on it... lucky it was not so obvious and I managed to cover it up with wrapping..
Will be looking forward to receive my Lamiglas blanks from my supplier soon...
