Super Surf Finsh???

Recently picked up a SSU1321mh for a real good price. Want to have it re-wrapped to my liking but I understand that the green finish is paint. When stripping it, if the blank needs to be re-painted, what are the options available; Auto spray booth, rattle can or just sanding the paint off and leaving it black???

As far as painting options go, you pretty much nailed it. Without completely stripping the rod and coating, it will be hard to match it up exactly. I would see what you are left with after you take off the guides, and then make the decision that will look the best.
