I just purchased a new surf rod and was sent the wrong rod by accident. The rod I received was a Custom Builder series Surf Rocket LSB1202M 10' 40# 4-12oz. It wasn't what I was trying to buy but I think I would like to keep it anyway.What warranty does this have? I would like to use it as an all around rod so to speak but was hoping to use for large plugs and jigs from the surf of N.C. Is this rod good for long casting(surf rocket?)?Is this a strong rod or no?It seems very strong but also lightweight compared to the fiberglass rods I normally use.Any info would be great.Thanks

10' is a little on the short side for a long distance rod.
I would go 11'6 or up.
The 1502mh is a sweet rod at 12'6. Very lightweight, and easy to load. Though it has factory rating at 6-16oz...the reality rating is 5-8oz rod....and has a sweet spot at 6oz.
Did you buy it from Mudhole? If so, why not contact them about the wrong order? I think you want 11-13 foot for the OBX.
