What rod to use for wobbler fishing when you are using 16+ ounces of lead?

When I'm fishing with wobblers using 12 ounces of lead or less I use the XCC934 GH. I feel as though the rod is overloaded with 16 ounces of lead. I have some older G1303T rods rated for 1-8 ounces that handle 20 ounces of lead but I'm looking for something a longer and of course...newer to fish out of my boat.

I'd recommend the xcc1066gh

I'd recommend the xcc1066gh or the x80hbcgh. I agree with you on the 934gh I love the rod but it has its limitations.

FishermanBob, Coming out this

FishermanBob,

Coming out this next year will be a new rod model with in the Kenai Kwick sereis called the XCC 885 GH. It will be an 8'8" one piece rod specifically designed for running heavy lead and wobblers. It will also be a composite blank so it will be extremely durable for all the abuse wobbler rods take with heavy lead and big fish.
