drift rod

im lookin for a baitcasting rod that can do it all mainly drift fish and use spoons i only bank fish and i go for kings silvers chums pretty much everything i have a 96mts 1/4-5/8 8-17 and i like it but its a spinning rod so a x96js or the same thing only casting

well when i bought my 96mts i asked bill herzog which one should i get the x96js or the x96mts he asked do you fish for kings i said yes he said put the x96js away that rod is good for everything but handling kings

Yeys the JS is too light for Kings. I just answered your other thread, but if you are a spoon fisherman and like the longer rods the X 10 MTC sounds like it might be perfect for what you like to do.
