I am planning to build my first rod in the near future.I will use it downlining for striped bass in a inland lake,using 1-1/2 - 2 ounce sinker usinig live gizzard shad for bait.I need a rod with a sensitive tip but with plenty of backbone.Will the MB 84 1E 7’ or the MB 84 2F 7’ be a good choice?

I was thinking about one of those two for a channel Catfish rod...I'm not famliar with either of them though. Anyone know what the Action is on those? Fast? Moderate?
