This past week I was on a business trip to North Carolina....I met up with some friends whom just moved to the Falls Lake area...I've been looking at purchasing a few different Skeet Reese Rods, so a friend set me up with 3 different set-ups. Crankbait, Jig and Spinnerbait. I caught a few fish on each of the rods, and they seemed excellent.
I was merely casting a smaller sized Crankbait which dives just 7'....and this rod snapped in half. It snapped as I casted the bait out. I wasn't throwing hard either because the bank was just 50' in front of us. I've never had this happen before?
I see the warranty should be covered, but I'm concerned because he hasn't found the original receipt...can you help us? I feel horrible as I was a "guest" using his equipment...I want to make sure he is covered here.

Also.....I liked the rods with the exception of this one breaking direclty in half?

It is a lifetime warranty rod so the best I can tell you is to send it in and let us take a look at it. It is pretty hard to tell what caused the break from the pictures. No proof of purchase will be necessary to make a warranty clam.
