Hello all. I'm new to the forum, but I am in love with Lamiglas rods. At least the one I own. I have an EXS 702 that I use for dropshotting and it is far and away my favorite rod. It is very sensitive and most of all comfortable.
I use a worm rod made by another manufacturer, but I am not in love with that rod. I want to move up to a Lami for worming and have my sights set on an EXS 703, simply because I love the feel I get with the 702.
The VPR gives the 703 a medium light (3) rating and suggests a 4 rating is most appropriate for worming. Unfortunately, there is no 4 rating in this spinning rod lineup. I am limited to spinning by physical reasons.
Will the 703 fill the bill for worming? I usually fish worms on the bottom in clear, lightly-weeded waters.

why not try a xc705
The 703 is the closest thing we make to a worming rod in spinning.

Thanks Josh and nuk. I appreciate the input. I may have to re-think my approach here a little bit.
