Lamiglass for VSB250

Hello People,

I'm a newbie trying to get ready for the stripers this fall but I can't figure out if the Surf and Jetty or Ron Arra series medium to heavy action would best suit my needs as well as complement a VSB250. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I have my VS250 mounted on

I have my VS250 mounted on the 11' Surf and Jetty. Very light weight, but find it to be a little too whippy for the 3oz. and above stuff. Thinking about going to a Super Surf 11' 4-8 oz. Or maybe even a custom rod on a lami blank.
