I'm looking for an all-around Salmon rod to be used for side-drifting, plugs, bobber and bait, back-trolling, and drift fishing. I'm leaning towards a 9 foot rod, light enough for casting all day, but strong and sensitive, with good casting performance. I'll eventually add more rods to my collection in the future, but would like one rod to do most everything pretty well at this time.
Considering Lamiglas Certified Pro X90 HC and the G1326 (9' version of the Kenai Special)
Water types: Coastal Rivers
Species: Primarily Chinook 20-50#
I would be happy to hear your suggestions.
Thanks

The X90HC is my rod of choice if I could only have one Chinook rod. It does everything well and a few things great.
