New Lamiglas Excel Series Rods Offer American Made Quality And Performance To More Bass Anglers Than Ever Before.
Woodland, WA: Offering anglers a renewed pride in owning and fishing American Made fishing rods, Lamiglas has introduced the all-new Excel bass series with manufacturers suggested retail prices of only $99.00 to $119.00. The Excel series bridges the gap for anglers wanting to purchase American Made rods, but unable to accommodate past differences in pricing between imported and domestically manufactured products.
“It’s not that interest in American Made rods is renewed,” said John Posey, Lamiglas National Sales Manager, “Anglers have always wanted American rods, but substantial price differences between those made in China and Mexico and those produced in the US were simply too large for many anglers to justify. The Excel Series has been a goal for years, but recent increases in production and transportation costs within import markets have made them a no-brainer.”
The Excel series includes ten one-piece technique-specific models: three 7-foot spinning rods in 2-, 3-, and 4-power and seven casting models from 7-feet to 7-feet, 11-inches in length and 3-, 4- and 5-power. Each rod in the series boasts a full complement of design, performance and handling features. The blanks are rolled and painted in Lamiglas’ Woodland, Wa factory. Nine are constructed of proprietary Lamiglas IM graphite, while the XL 705Glass is a graphite and fiberglass composite for fishing crankbaits.
All Excel series rods are also wrapped and finished in Lamiglas’ Woodland, WA facility. They feature a very attractive deep metallic copper finish, with coordinated wraps. Components include split grips on all models to minimize weight and increase sensitivity, Comfort Touch reel seats on spinning models, and Fuji casting reel seats. And the unique hook keeper is perfect for drop shot weights or big treble hooks.
In addition to specifications including model, length and line and lure ratings, each Excel rod is labeled with the techniques it was designed for. Instead of being masters of how variable rod length, power and action effects the rod’s ability to perform specific functions, anglers need only know what techniques they want the rod to accomplish and choose accordingly from those listed on each rod in the selection.
“Our strength at Lamiglas has always been our acknowledgement of angler wants and needs, which is why we’ve offered cost-conscious imports as well as performance driven American made rods,” finished Posey, “The Excel series is incredibly exciting for its ability to please anglers in both areas. Every single employee of Lamiglas shares in the pride of these rods, and our ability to deliver them to everyday anglers.”
