I have a Lamiglas 4 power Skeet Reese 7' SR704C rated 3/8 to3/4 oz, 8 to 17#. When was this rod first marketed? This rod appears to have some flex well into the blank. Is this a medium power rod or medium heavy power ? Is the tip action a fast tip or moderate fast tip. What is the composition of the blank? What fishing techniques was the rod designed for. How would this rod handle say medium to deeper cranks, traps and jerkbaits and topwater?
So far I have used it only for throwing spinnerbaits catching pike but I would like to know more about this rod and its applications. Thanks

That rod would be a medium heavy powered rod and the tip would be moderate fast. The material used to build that blank is called E-Glass, fiberglass. The rod was designed for crankbaits, spinner baits and some used it for top water fishing.
