Ron arra XSRA 1322-2 Spinning Rod

So I know that the Lamiglas XSRA 1322-2 Ron Arra Surf Pro Spinning Rod is rated to be 1-5oz, how would this rod perform with 4oz+bait?

I love the specs of this rod, I just don't want it to snap while bait fishing when I'm not fishing with lures.Thanks in advanced.

Wow sorry missed that question.

It will handle up to a total of 5oz comfortably. After that you will be over-loading the rod, lose casting distance, and risk breakage. If you want to throw large baits with 4oz I would look at stepping into one of our Super Surfs.
