Doesn't anybody have any sugestions for a good down rigger rod for salmon and also a good trolling rod for tuna?
george
The only thing I could think of would be the XCF806. It would be a bit heavy fo coho but would be good for chinook and tuna.

If your going for Albies, you can probably get away with the 803, any other tuna except a skipjack or other small species will eat it alive, otherwise the 806 is the rod. A downrigger rod is designed to be nothing like a trolling rod for salmon or tuna. The two listed rods are about as optimum as you going to get.
No one knows as much as all of us.
thank-you for the info I think Iwill need to get rods for each style of fishing I'am doin, but now the other half knowes too.
