I have aquired an old Lamiglas rod. It's 8' long, hollow glass.
It has metal reel seat, cork handles and SS guides in a 'triple loop', form. 5 guides + tip.
It's a soft yellow or maybe yellowish cream color, the wrappings have a chrome/bright silver on each side of the guide. Thread wraps are faded enough I'm not sure what color they are, but maybe an olive?
There are no markings I can find on the rod. I does not appear to have a clear coat.
I'm guessing it may be 70's vintage, but I'd really like to know more about it if possible. I'd like to do a rebuild with the blank, and make a good match with the new hardware and a reel choice. It will be primarily used in jetty or bridge fishing here in W Fl., so I need to know appropriate weight tackle and line to expect to use.

PAPA-BILL,
Are you sure it is a Lamiglas? And there are no markings on the blank? With out any model # or blank number it will be extremely difficult to know exactly what blank or built rod it is?
