i'm looking to pick up an si in spinning, but i'm torn between the two. does the 6-8 have as much power as the old cert pro 9'6" 4-8?

I took a chance on the 6-8, really glad I did, it was exactly what I was looking for. obviously an amazing rod, can't wait to fish it. it will see it's first steelhead Tuesday.
I must say, I was pretty surprised to see on guide way out of alignment, seems odd that a 400 dollar rod would be sent out with such an obvious flaw.

I lied, got out today. really love the rod
Coastal Kid,
That is a great photo! Did ya get any measurements?
Jake Reardon
no measurements, just a nice fish, guessing 17ish. I was lucky enough to get it all on film though, the si with 8 lb had him in my hands in under 6 minutes
