Lamiglass G137Qq 9"6" broken tip

Hi,

First time in the forum. I owned 3 Lamiglass rods, my oldest and my favorite one broke at the tip while striper fishing at the surf yesterday; it broke one eye below from the very tip, although I caught a lot of stripe bass on this one already. I bought this rod about 10 years ago at the Fisherman Warehouse in Cupertino, Ca. I lost the receipt and I don't want this to retire; I am not sure if it can be repair if so please advice where I should send the rod. The rod model and description is Lamiglass G137q 9"6". Line wt. 15-30 lb. Test. Lure 1-3 oz. It's a spinning rod. Also, please advice the approximate cost of repair.

Also, is there a similar rod like this but 10ft?

Thank you!

Sounds like you may have an older salmon G 1000 rod from the "G" and discription, but your missing a number if it is. Not many 9 ft 6 in anymore.
If it's a disignated surf rod than it's got to be an oldie as they haven't changed catalog numbers in way over 10 years that I can remember.

No one knows as much as all of us.

Thanks for the info. I spoke

Thanks for the info. I spoke to the warranty service and I mailed my rod right away, stripped bass is running like crazy where I'm at, hoping I get my rod back soon. And yes I missed the last number "9", G1379. I took it to the place where I bought the rod and they told me the exact model. To me this is a excellent rod and I enjoyed using it.
