Composite Crankbait blank??

I'm a custom builder and am interested in setting up a crankbait rod. I'm looking for something with moderate action, a soft tip, strong midsection and pretty heavy butt. This will be for throwing medium sized cranks in Texas. I'm looking at the CCB864M or the CCB865MF composite blank. Any thoughts on which way to go? Any other blank models I should be looking at? Thanks!

As the cranks get bigger or deeper go from the CCB 844, to the CCB 845, than to the CCB 845MF.
I've got a crankbait rod I really like on the CMB 84 1M blank. Skeet uses this blank in MB 841M and MB 90 1 E glass for his crankers, but this discountinued blank has a thin wrap of glass tip to butt and the lower half is wrapped with graphite for lighter weight and stiffness. I saw quite a few at Lamiglas in a rack out back for an outstanding price, I picked up a few more myself. I still have a few of the SMB 84 1M S-glass versions in my collection that are similar in weight/action to the glass/graphite blank, about 3/8 oz. or a bit more lighter than the E glass only version if I remember right.

No one knows as much as all of us.
