Trask Model Graphite Rod 70's-80's

Purchased this graphite Lamiglas Trask 8'6" as my "first" back in the late 70's or early 80's and broke about 6" off the tip section. Does anyone have a tip section they would part with? I don't believe Lami could match it up because of the different ferrule's now being produced. (correct me if I'm wrong).

I'd have the rod repaired at a good shop with a fiberglass oversleeve at the break. If the damage allows, a good shop can do the work and you'll feel minimal difference in the rod while fishing it.
