i am fishing fresh water in nc for big blue catfish and strippers average catfish weigh in at 30-40lbs we're fishing in a river behind a dam the pros use 13'-14'rods that i take to be surf rods to cast 2-3oz lead diamond plugs aleast 150' out into the main channel any advice on what i need to buy to be able to do the same thing would be a big help . thanks
